UPDATE: This dad's dying wish has officially been granted.

Shortly after Humans of New York highlighted the touching story of Domingo Santiago on social media, Sting's daughter Mickey Sumner confirmed she had gotten in touch with the late policeman's daughter, Elizabeth. Now, according to a new update on Humans of New York's Instagram page, his painting is officially with the star just over a week later.

"THE EAGLE HAS LANDED," a caption of a photo of the performer posed next to the portrait confirmed. "Thanks so much to @sumnermickey for helping get our precious cargo to her father. She's also teamed up with Elizabeth to create a fundraiser in Domingo's memory. All donations will benefit the National MS society, and aid in the fight to end Multiple Sclerosis forever. So let's keep the party going! Link in bio."
